I'm going to have to do a lot of research when I get around to using mine too so I won't be much help.
You might want to start a thread just on the 545. If you don't I eventually will.
All three of my 545s are a little different.
I don't know how to post pictures but all three of my trannys are fully assembled but out of the vehicle(s). If you want to know something specific I could look at mine.
THANKS! im having trouble with making motor mounts hoping if you can give me the dimensions? my engine is ready to go in my truck but no custom motor mounts, got the plate and motor mounts alredy bolted to the block and my banks sidewinder turbo, please help

You should be able to get parts for that thing at any medium to heavy truck parts place. An IH dealer should be able to get them no problem

Even if you get the dimensions for every piece, you will still need to fab the mounts in place for it to work. There are compound angles going on. I am building my mounts right now. I started my bolting the transmission and engine together, set in the frame and mount the transmission mount where it would normally be. I assume this is where you are now. Now position the motor centerline the same as the trans yoke within the frame. This will ensure the driveline is straight. The driver's manifold and steering box will limit how low it will sit in the frame. I used foamboard from an arts and crafts store to make templates and taped, bolted and marked pieces to fab up as I went.Double check the engine is level as well as the frame.(right to left) I will try to snap some pics, but I don't know what use it will do you. It is also good advice to shorten the oil pan sump. I started with a new plate and bolted to this
He has som good pics in his gallery, My motor location looks near identical to this install. Your starter will not be servicable if it is a Mitsibishi, you need a Denso so it can be removed.
A little slow but there are motor mount pics in My gallery now.
I've gotten a good start mounting the 6.9 in the older frame
I just want to make sure you get the credit for the documentation on this swap, it helped me a lot to see your install. BTW the Banks nonwastegated turbo cleared the firewall with less hassle, the turbo and pipe are further in the valley.I am using a 460 super cooler radiator and shroud. It looks like the 7.3 fan will be centered in that, and with the addition of a 6.2 chevy fan blade, the diameter will fit. Thanks for your multiple replies to my PMs regarding this.
