they are called come-a-longs and you can get them many place, harbor freight seems to be a popular place to get them. but they take FOREVER to get your truck unstuck

I bought this one years ago after breaking 2 of the Harbor freight style pullers..

This is beefy and heavy... Also it doesn't fit under the seat like the harbor freight style..

Product Listing - Winches and Recovery if you must have a manually operated one, but they're pricey. At the price of a decent powered winch. Great winch, just heavy on the wallet.

CM 3 ton come alongs are bullet proof we use them at work to square up wheel loader and excavator buckets, be careful to match the rest of you rigging because they will put out more than three tons and they have a clutched reverse so they back off easy. No idea what they cost work buys them be we have some that I bet are 20 years old and still work.

The classic. There are copies, but these work great and you can order parts if you somehow manage to hurt one. I put chain grab hooks on the end of my cables so I can use them with wrecker chains.
