then why did you add it lol....im just messin with ya man....most things you will find for power or what not are for power strokes......and this crowd here is all N/A so gotta get creative and share knowledge of how to achieve these things with out the products cuz arent very many out there

i dont know much about yours but the cummins 6bt can be very easily upgraded you should be able to as well. a simple fuel plate in pump on 6bt will give like 150hp and almost 200ft/lbs of torque and lots of smoke. and for like 100 bucks. someone more ford diesel friendly needs to steer you there im sucking

hey cant deny the cummins motor of beeing great. after all i hope for a for enthusiast you know who owns cummins. and im thinking of putting one in my 69. stack out hood black smoke all the way down the 1/4 mile. and doing tractor pulls with it. cant tell me that wouldnt be something to see

Now we don't have to worry about some dumb kid creating new laws for our old trucks!
Good Diesels don't smoke, it shortens their life ...

- Ensure that your AAA or Autoclub tow insurance is paid up.
- Remove the triangle plate off the side of the Injector Pump.
- Rotate motor until you see an Allen Screw.
- Carefully turn that Allen screw all the way in carefully bottoming it out. (to hard breaks pump)
- Put the Triangle plate back on.
- Unplug Pyrometer if you have one.
- Go find a nice hill to test it out on. (580 Up out of Livermore towards Tracy ought to do)
- Hold it to the floor all the way up the hill, DO NOT LIFT or it won't work!
Now we don't have to worry about some dumb kid creating new laws for our old trucks!

What Festus Hagen is saying is that black smoke also makes for some very high a EGTs, and if your run those you gonna melt your pistons down. Really, just forget the whole black smoke thing, it's way overrated. Another thing to consider - black smoke is not free, it's from fuel you're wasting, how do you feel about 8 mpg when your fuel prices gets high in the summer again? Cause I don't make hardly any smoke, and I sure as hell am loving my 20mpg

See how much truckers like ya too, when you start chugging uphill pouring coal right in their air vents. I personally find it pretty retarded when someone in a 3/4-ton tries to turn the sky black, while my '78 W900 can outpull and when bobtailing outrun about any of y'all and still the only smoke I see out the stacks if for a few seconds after an upshift before the turbo spools up... Starmilt and Dave S know what I'm talking about.
