So I got the AIS filter system installed this afternoon and I am really liking it. I am seeing a 10-12* difference in AIT, when running, between the 6637 and this system. That is minimum. I know I should have had the sensor installed in the intake hose somewhere when I was running the 6637 but it was laying right next to it, so I dont think there would be that much difference. After a few hard accerlerations(with programmer on) I got out and checked the filter minder and it may have moved 1/32" when I hit the reset button on it. Cant wait to pull the boat and see how it does. I know its not going to be as loud, which as I stated before I really liked, but it does get a little old when towing.
Disclaimer: Not trying open a can of worms with any of these statements. Just reporting what I have seen this afternoon with it installed.
My filter minder with my AIS may move a little 1/8" when I pull a heavy load with a 60T tune with my DP but I don't hardly hammer it when I tow. Never tripped the light in the dash.
I bet it is nice and quiet? I love my 6637 but the noise can sometimes be annoying on a long trip. I do like the simplicity of the 6637 and price which wins out for me.
Here is an example of the dyno PROVING the capability of the 6637/Tymar filter compared to a well known (and WAY more expensive alternative) compared to just an open intake tube from that thread. There are other examples there as well. As far as I know, the AIS was not tested like this. Someone needs to do it.

EDIT: Good kit, but at least one person reported a loss in boost, increase in EGTs with that kit compared to the 6637. Have a look at the intake shoot-out thread I linked above. Which is why I asked about the MAT (temps at the intake just before going into the engine). The suggestion is that just because you get cooler air at the AIT, you could still get higher EGTs if there is some restriction there over some other options.
King --> Have you noticed a difference either way in EGTs?
There are guys using it in our version of "the bush" with no problems. One guy knocked about an inch high pile of sand/dirt off his after some runs out there.
