Sorry for the intrusion, but my laptop has decided to not cooperate so I cannot view my mitchell on demand software (which is a great tool to buy if you work on many, many different vehicles). Currently a local store has it and ordered parts and it will be laid up for at least a week. What else is new *shrug*.
Might any of you have the dash & in-cab wiring diagrams for a 1993 F-series?
How about the air compressor (suspension) wiring diagram for a 1993 Lincoln Continental?
Any format is fine - pdf, gif, jpg, whatever I can view anything. Thanks in advance. Google was not kind this time.
The dash has many circuits in the 1993 F-series, what circuit are you looking for?
This is sheet number 4 of 4 on the 1993 Lincoln Continental Electronic Level Control do you need the other three sheets?
This is the only one showing the air compressor.

The piece of the diagram I need is the cigarette lighter area. There's one connector that has four wires of heavy gauge for the lighter socket and the power port socket as well as the ash tray light. This one I reverse engineered in no time at all. It's the grey connector physically next to it, with heavier gauge wire that I'm trying to figure out it's purpose. In this pic, the ash tray plug is the black one on the left, and the grey one on the right is the unknown one.
If I had what is supposed to be plugged into them, I could figure this out in mere seconds but alas the ash tray is long gone as is whatever is supposed to be attached to the grey connector. Long story lol.

No, the sheet you posted was perfect, I got exactly what I wanted out of it. Two of the wires drive the compressor which was obvious, but I couldn't figure out offhand what the other two leads were for with the ohm meter. The coil inside has so little resistance the diode that collects backwards electrical spikes appeared "invisible" to my meter. So that problem is now licked, thank you sir!
The one plug is the Trailer Brake Controller plug with the large Blue Wire in it.
I will get back to you with the diagrams is a few.
Fabulous, thank you very much. If there's power to be had at the grey connector, I'll use that instead of the ash tray cig lighter and put the ash tray back.
This explains why nothing was attached to the grey connector - I don't have a trailer controller! My old car trailer I got rid of years ago was purely hydraulic except for the tailights, signals and reverse lights. It's also why I hated the trailer so much. Loaded it did very little braking, unloaded all four wheels would lock. Why? The adjustment mechanism on the coupler was rotted really bad. Couldn't even free it with a hammer/torch.

The Red wire comes from the Engine Compartment Fuse Box with its own Fuse "T".
