Thought I would post this on here for everyone. I have been working on a single wiring diagram for the powertrain system on our trucks. I found several diagrams, but they were all in multiple pages. Well after a few hours in Photoshop and a few more hours in Snag-it, I have created a one page diagram that can be printed out. I tested this on a plotter and made a really nice 36"x108" diagram.
The pdf is large (14.2 meg) and should open fine on any computer. If you want to print it out, take it to your favorite printing center and let them have at it. You should be able to print it most any size. 24" x 60" works well too!
Again, this was for fun and I did utilize a diagram I found. I only manipulated it into one single file and colored it in for an easier to follow tool.
I will attach it as a picture here, but I suggest clicking on the link above for the whole effect! As usuall, it is also on my webpage too, under Electrical.
The powertrain stuff should be near identical on the 2002's. The 550 & 650 trucks will be a little different. There was a big electrical change for the '02 trucks. The principle is the same on the older trucks, just the pin numbers and fuse numbers wont match. The 02's also have some new and improved design changes like an updated instrument cluster.
I'm pretty sure I've still got access to the student printing center here at Auburn so I'm going to go ahead and print off 4 or 5 copies...assuming they haven't revoked my privileges yet, I can print off any size sheet for free. As much as I've given Auburn University for the past 4 years, they can give me a few more sheets of paper lol.
