I would stay away from those junk Autozone Duralasts. I'm hard on my batteries so after I killed the Motocrafts i bought the duralasts they lasted 2 months and Autozone wouldn't help me with the warranty. So I bought the Die Hard platinums and they are holding up awesome a year later.
Don't know what you did to p*** someone off but I have never had Autozone balk on a legitimate warranty. I am not advertising for them just stating fact.
I did not p*** anybody off I went to 3 different autozone and had them tested their machine always said it was good but I could never convince them to disconnect one battery and test them individually so they always told me they were good. And they were in warranty only two months old. I even showed the guy how my truck would barely start. I went and bought the Die Hards and everything has beef fine. I wouldn't buy a lug nut from autozone after that. Idiots!
What are the best batteries to buy for a 2005 F-250 6.0L? I got a quote from auto zone on some duralast Golds, they have 1000 cold cranking amps. Also I have herd that the optima's suck for deisels.
Thanks
Mike
I went with the (2) DieHard Platinum Group 65, 48 month replacement, 52 month prorated for 100 month total. I've always had good luck with the DieHards.
