Hey Guys.
Who guessed Mohave desert? Yeah I live on the edge of the desert near Hesperia CA.
Anyways, I drive an 03 F250 XLT 5.4L. I have put all 53k miles on her, mostly towing the boat to Lake Mohave (colorado river), and towing the 4 wheelers out to the sand dunes, both Glamis and Dumont. She is stock right now, and awfully clean for an '03. The only thing I have added on is a crossover toolbox and satelite radio.

This pic is at El Mirage dry lake bed, with the 4 wheeler in bed.

Thanks for the welcome!!

El Mirage, eh?

A few of us were out there in April. There's some pics toward the end of this thread.https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...il-12th-5.html

I'm about ready for another trip out there before it gets too blazing hot.

Yeah El Mirage is a cool place to take the trucks off road. Another place close by, which I am sure you all have either been to or heard of is Johnson Valley. Everything from rocks to sand to desert, lots of land. Perfect place for the Bronco/Jeep enthusiast. Fun place to camp and take the 4 wheelers as well.
