Smile 99 F150 power programmer

I am leaning towards the Hypertech Max Energy 42000 power programmer which was recommended by a salesman. I could use any other information and recommendations. I currently have a Flowmaster catback exhaust and a K&N intake kit. I hope to soon be installing a Y-pipe with a high flow cat and headers. I want a programmer that is very user friendly and that I can easily make changes when I make additional upgrades to my truck. A nice feature would to be able to easily switch between high performance mode and tow mode. I am a contactor and about once a month, I use this truck to haul about 2500 lbs of demo trash, so tow mode would be nice if it is a quick and easy change. Another nice feature would be if I could use my laptop or just the programmer to let it know my modifications to my truck and it can set the best performance for my mods. Eventually, I would love to purchase a supercharger!
I have a 99 F-150 XLT, ext cab, short bed, 5.4, 4x4.
