Hot shot rates

I had someone approach me about hauling a 5-6 tons of broam grass to get compressed. It would be with either my truck or an 06 dodge dually. Looks like it will be about 730 miles total from 21901 to 16801 to 16335 to 18053 back to 21901.

What do you all charge and how much would I have to deal with DOT and scales?

dont know yet depends on whether dad is using it or not for our own hay. It would be a safer bet if i get pulled over for some reason. I think my truck i would be fine GVW and axle weight but if they got digging could nail me combo even though im registered for 26k combo

You will need to have a commercial insurance policy to cover you if something goes wrong. Your regular auto insurance policy won't cover you once you are for hire.
