Trucks running great!
As most of you know I had been having issues with my truck from some of my threads. Well I tore into her to do the injectors and here is what I found:
The oil gallery plug on the front of the head was finger tight explaining the hard starts.
Replaced IPR o-rings.
Pulled all 8 injectors. One was completely missing an o-ring, nowhere to be found. And three others had split in half o-rings.
Got PCM reflashed, now I can hook up to it with Auto Enginuity!!
Put in 180cc stage 1's with a modified program on the PCM. All I can say is WOW.
So she fires right up every time, and never has any white smoke in the mornings.

I read on here about reflashing the PCM but don't know a thing about it. Is this the only kind of situation where flashing does any good or is there more situations

Being as you have a TW it overrides the PCM. I had to have it re-flashed for the computer reading issue. For stock trucks, having the PCM reflashed is beneficial. They had new programming almost each year. Even if I did get a 6 pos chip I still wouldn't have been able to read codes.
