I was pulling a trailer the other day and noticed that when I came to a complete stop and either turned right or left the rear differential started shaking like the ring gear was being stripped. I now notive it when the truck is unloaded. Has anyone had this problem before. Thanks.
Sounds to me like you need some limited slip additive. Did you do a recent gear oil change? If you did, and didn't use a synthetic fluid with the friction modifier in it, the clutches will chatter.
