Which Synthetic OIL?

I have a 2K F-350 4X4 with 148K miles. I wan't to go synthetic motor oil, which one would be better for my truck. I live in So Cal. Can I find it at my Local Napa auto Parts?

Take your pick, everyone has their favorites.

I've been using Rotella Synthetic for years, but the price went up recently. My next oil change will be switching to Schaffers.

All the synthetics I have seen are 5w-40. I was running Rotella syn and just switched to Schaeffers. Both are fine. Napa should have the Shell Rotella, at least my local Napa does.

Syn oil

In southern California, I would recommend 5-30 to 10-40.

Same here been running Rottela 5-40, but the price increased to 19.00 per gallon so I'm going to give Schaeffers a try.

About the same price for Schaeffers now as Rotella. Maybe slightly more but not by much. Cannot help you on the dealer thing though. I believe you should be able to go to their website and look up your closest rep.

I have been running AMSOIL HHD Series 3000 for the last 60,000 miles. I use it along with their EA filter and only change the oil once a year so about every 10-12k. Oil analysis has always come back good!! The truck has 130k on it and never had a problem.
