I'm in the process of replacing my king pins which will be my cherry poping experience on solid front axles. First, where can I get replacement king pins or king pin rebuild kits? I've checked online and at some auto parts stores and they aren't a common item. Is it dealer only? If so, about how much to do all four? Also, what would be better or easier, replacing or rebuilding them? All and any help is appreciated, thanks!
This is for a 2000 F250 super duty diesel
It's so hard to find kingpins for that because it uses ball joints.
Rent a ball joint press (the one at Auto Zone is free after you bring it back, they charge a deposit), and get a manual as well. There are a few things on that truck that are different than you would expect. You might also need a few special tools, so read the manual before you start.

Good advice. You should be able to get Moog balljoints at RockAuto at a good price.
