king pins on disc conversion.......

I got spindles from a 77 F-150 but plan on using the I beams that are on my 71....

I'm going to replace the king pins.....should I use king pins for a 77 or a 71....?

thanks

There is a difference in the diameter of the pin. I don't know how much. I'd go back and get the I-Beams from the 77. Personally, I always get the I-beams and spindles from 76 or newer trucks. I guess now I know why! I do use the old cast radius arms because they look nicer, not cheezy like the new stamped ones. Wish I could be more helpful!
