RUG what??
A friend has an RUG toploader (28 spline) that I might want to fit to my '73 F-100 with 302 and 3 speed manual, but this one is an RUG CB, I've heard of RUG C, C1, and C2, but never CB. Does anyone know what this is and if it will fit to my present bellhousing? Thanks, Polkat

it will fit 100% i have a toploader bolted onto my 302 out of a 79 mustang and it also fit on my 289 block out of a 66 mustang so it will without a doubt fit on your 73 i checked the website i have on toploaders and it did not list a RUG CB but not to worry mine is not on there either i have a RUG something and after emailing a few toploader sites 2 told me that mine is out of a 78 E100 van its a 4 speed but 4th is .8 to 1 so its a overdrive your may be too for more info check out www.4speedtoploaders.com and good luck with the swap im currently converting my 67 mustang coupe into a manual i just cant wait to order all those ELEANOR body parts a couple more years and about 5 grand from now i will have one heck of a toy:7
