Banks Techni-Cooler
Hey Guys,
I'm looking for some info and opinion on the Banks Techni-Cooler package. I was looking under the hood over the weekend and it doesn't look like too much of a pain in the a** to remove the old intercooler. I'd like to find out just how difficult it is and the results once its in.
Oh and on the topic of air intake. Over the weekend I did some "Shadetree Mechanic" work and used a dremil tool to make a rectangular cut-out on the piece of fiberglass that's right in front of the stock air intake. Seems to me like it would improve air flow. Has anyone else done this?

I have the Techni-Cooler and its a great product, but you should spend the money on an SCT tuner before you upgrade your intake. Either that or keep the Edge and save for a new transmission. The intake mod your talking about is called the ZooDad mod, lots have done it, I have not since I want to keep my intake dry. At speed there is lots of air forced to this area from below, so I left it alone.
