sputtering

Took the family on a camping trip pulling about 9K worth of fifth wheel. Going up hills the truck began to sputter and blow huge clouds of black smoke, would eventually catch up and pull. Runs fine on a level road and after I got the trailer off I took it out and drove it like I stole it with no issues. I don't have a CEL or any other problems, I did get some fuel at a suspect station and am hoping that is my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, you guys are the greatest.

If it were me,I would start with fresh filters. Though it could be your turbo needs a cleaning.

I had the same happen to me. It threw a MAP sensor code. I replaced the map sensor. Prior to my CCV reroute, The reading hose for the MAP was full of oil residue. I also serviced my turbo recently...Might have been a combination of a few things
