Help and advice please...

I have a 2003 6.0 and while it was apparently suppose to die and cause me nothing but problems, its been my dependable workhorse. Its going to roll over 400 000 kms here and I want to keep it my dependable workhorse. I have never done any major work only little things here (alternator) and there (injectors), its stock through and through, of course every fluid has been change at every interval as suggested. Should I be looking into a pre lube set up or installing a pyro? What steps would anyone suggest to get to another 400 000 kms?

I would say keep doing what you are doing, she loves you.A set of gauges trans temp, boost and pyro are great to have,so is a coolant bypass filter. It appears that you have not neglected or abused the truck so keep it up it might be a million km rig.

Sounds like your doing everything right to me. If your going to leave it stock and not run the p*** out of it, I personally think you are OK now.

Throwing on an engine oil bypass filter wouldn't hurt.
