Borg Wagner 1356
The manual was not designed for ASE certified technicians, it was designed for the at home basic mechanic. If you want a manual, you buy the Ford dealership manual that I have which I paid 80 dollars to get. Those other manuals cover basic repairs that the average home mechanic could accomplish. Tougher jobs like rebuilding a T/C should be left to a qualified person vs a home mechanic that just learned how to change spark plugs is what the book is saying.
Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds

Hey guys,
Since your talking about Borg Warner 1356 I have a question. Mine is leaking fluid from were the "rear entension housing" connects to the main case. My question is..........If I remove the rear shaft and take out the bolts on this housing will it come off without too much trouble (like gears ans parts falling out). Nothing is wrong with it and all i want to do is put in a new gasket.

It should not be a major problem just have to remove bolts and it will come apart.
By the way check for cracks on the main housing (specially near the extention gasket area), it is quite common to have small crack on it and therefore a lick.

It should not be a major problem just have to remove bolts and it will come apart.
