Quick easy question.

Well not easy to me.

I am installing a set of Wagner Super Duty pads and Wagner roters. There are no instructions on how to break them in. Any ideas?

Thanks
Chris

The following procedure is called “bedding in” your brake pads – it helps reduce brake noise and makes the pads last longer.

Is this generic? Or will it work with all pads. I want to do this right.

Thanks
Chris

That's close to what I do. I run it to 60 and decellerate to 10, repeat with a harder decel each time until you've done it 8 times. Do not stop during this procedure, use the e brake which has it's own drums to do any stopping.

If you do anything remotely like this, you are way, way ahead of most truck owners and your brakes should last a long time.
