I bit the bullet and purchased a 6.0 trans cooler trying cure my trans temp problem when towing. I want to know if anyone has a pic of one installed. Also do the torque converter lock switches help reduce that heat when towing. I mostly just tow a 20 foot boat and car hauler with classic cars but I live in the hills and I climb from 600ft to 4500 and my trans hit 250 on my gauge last week then my od light flashed until I restarted the truck. It doesnt matter if I am in Jodys 40 tow mode or stock. I already changed the cooler bypass valve. Back to the original question, pics of a 6.0 cooler installed and what is needed. Thanks guys
I did not take pics of my install, sorry. It is very tight, but it will go. IIRC you might have to 'mod' a little on the rad bracket to get it in, but I've heard some dont have to...
