Question

Driver side mirror distortion

I just picked up my 2009 XLT 4X4. Beauty truck! The mirror on the driver side has a green film on (it almost looks like the peal off film you see on electronics - except it is in the glass). The problem is it really distorts the view - to the point that I'm seeing double headlights begind me. Does anyone know what this is? Is there a fix?

If the drivers side mirror has the dimming feature on it, yours is broke. Take it back to the dealer and have them fix it.

I noticed a slight distortion on mine, too. Is it supposed to be crystal clear and sharp?

I have the double headlight problem too -- it only happens on the driver side. I was going to have the dealer look at it during my first service.
