Front Wipers

We're having a heavy snow in Colorado right now. I tried to clear my windshield with the wipers. Heard a pop. Now no worky. I can hear the motor operating. The two wipers are still linked together. I can move them freely by hand and they both move. Anybody know exactly what I broke and need to replace.

Sounds like the linkage popped off the motor, or the gear box on the motor took a crap

Hopefully just linkage. Either way I guess I have to dis mantle the thing.

It was the linkage. Nothing a pair of channel locks couldn't handle.
