windshield swap

I need to replace the windshield in my 91 F150 XL 2wd and I have been told the windshield from a 84 F150 will exact fit, Is this true or false.

Not sure what you mean by true cabs but by your reply the 84 glass will fit in my 91. Thank you

old fingers sorry, ment to sat two. I put the windshield out of my 86 in my son's 94 when I got a new one.the old one was starting to turn white on the bottom, my son didn't care, he didn't have the money for a new one.

The windshields will fit, the only thing diffrent is the VIN window part of the windshield tint is diffrent. I have a 91 windshield in my 84, no problems.
