Welcome to FTE. It lights up but does not work? Do some of the other functions not work right either? Most of the time this is just from things coming loose on the computer board in the overhead display. You're options are to either buy a new display module or grab a soldering iron and fix it yourself.

you may want to wiggle the others. i did, and 2 were loose (2 were off too). Be carefull not to get things too hot.
After doing the work, my trip miles are still stuck, but the compass works. i hope you get it all working for you, please post back with your results, and if you have any other questions!

one of the others were loose, got it all back to gether it all works just like new, it took a couple days to get miles to empty where it should be, avg mile per gal still not right, but I only drive 12 miles to work, and I rode my bike three days this week, compass does work to, next I will tackle door locks, the pasanger front don,t work at all passenger rear works sometimes, and driver door not at all

Most call that function the lie-o-meter because it does not give you an accurate avg mpg. Hand calculate to be accurate.
