54 Cowl Vent question
My cowl vent has two holes one on each side in the front. I've looked through some of my books but haven't found anything. Anybody know of any trim that went on these?

Never seen anything mounted there. P.O. likely had some do-dad mounted on the cowl.

Thats what i'm thinking but they are even spaced on each front corner so i figured i'd ask. I'll probably just fill them in.

There are no pictures, but my cab has two holes matched on each side just that I wonder why they were there. I could not figure a good reason why the previous owner would have added them.

None of the ones I have, have any holes but just wondering if the previous owner had thoughts of putting sprayers for the window washers?? Just a guess on my part.
I see your busy getting things into primer as well.

Couldn't put washers there it's just about where the seal goes. Although washers have been a thought of mine for it.

My holes were in the cowl itself not the actual vent. That is a very odd place to drill holes. For rubber bumpers maybe or screws to close it tight?
