If the beds are the same length it will fit on your truck. Exactly what year is the bed though? 80-86 has the same body lines, they changed in 87. While the beds will bolt on, there will be a cosmetic difference. My truck is an 85, but my bed came from a 93. I swapped a 95 front end on as well so all my fenders match. Just look at my fender arches, then look at yours and you will see the difference.
