2010 Expedition

I have read on several websites that the production of the 2009 model was to resume in April. My assumption is they will return as a 2010 model. Does anyone know when they are supposed to go on sale?

Ordered my 2010 in June, unsure when I will actually get it though.

I do know for a fact they aren't producing 09s anymore.

Thanks eddiemoney. I have seen a few 2009's but as of today no 2010's. Do you knowif there is any changes between the 2009 and the 2010?

Only a couple things significant

1) A few color changes

2) Sway Control from the F150 is standard

3) Limited has a new aluminum 18" wheel rather than chrome clad, but it isn't available yet so you have to purchase the 20s.

Another thing to note, MSRP didn't go up much, but dealer invoice did. So they are getting less margin. Regardless I got a deal in ink for $1000 below dealer invoice on a 2010 when I ordered mine.

I know people that after they have purchased their SUV they wren't really thrilled by the chrome clad wheels. The set is more of a hubcap deal. And I was thinking that it was due to weight in a effort to improve MPG. But since the MPG is no longer required for the EL's I would think Ford would move to a all aluminum wheel instead of the chrome clad setup. Do post pics after you have received your new toy

Here is the way I look at it. The Chrome Clads will last through the first set of tires and then they may be shot. That just gives me an excuse to buy a new set of tires/rims at that point.
