Whoops Bash Plates Needed
Well, I was out with my week old F150 on a old road.
I pulled into a turn around and backed up to make a turn.
There is an area about 4 inches wide where the trasfer case sticks down a bit....and low and behold that is where the only rock in town happens to be positioned. Crunch! Put a little groove about a mm deep in the trasfer case. No breach or crack, or leak...but a lesson non the less.
I did not get the factory plates because they are usually not too robust.
I need to get an oil pan and transfer case skid plate....so any suggestions?

Do you know Bart? The syntax and prose is a lot alike. Just sayin'....
Other than stock ones, it doesn't look like anybody else is making them yet for the 09's. The stock skid plates on my 08 won't support the weight of the truck, but they've saved me a couple of times. The stock ones work well for stock off-roading capabilities.

Yea the stock Ford ones would be better than nothing.
Not much luck Googling for 09 parts.
I was lucky today....could have been spendy!
