PTO from 4spd into 205 trasfer case??
Have a 4 spd in my 78 F250 4x4 that has a pto off the side to run a winch.
I am curious if anyone has tried to move said PTO into the PTO provision on thier 205 Transfercase? Cover looks like the same pattern..???
Was thinking of installing a C6/205 combo if this little trick works...
Please let me know if any of you have tried this?

sorry, wont work. the pto on the 4 spd should be a 2 way unit, [forward and reverse],
the pto for the t case will be a 1 way unit, just about 1/3 the size and weight. if you use the wrong pto, or even the correct one with out the proper amount of shims and spacers, it can be an explosive and expensive experiance!
check the chealse web site for info on the correct pto, or find a good truck parts dealer in your area.
