C6 capacity
Getting ready to change fluid and filter in my c6 tranny. Going to unbolt pan, change filter, and reassemble. Need to know how many quarts to put back in. 1972 F250 390 automatic.

I'm going to guess and say 4-6 qts. I think I'd go to one of the shops and get a full fluid flush. Of course it doesn't change the filter.
