It's worth it totally and should be the first thing above other mods.

I am very happy with mine from 5 Star and nobody asked me to say that.

I have a 2008 F-350 with a tuner from Mike: I'm also very happy with the tunes from 5-Star, and he didn't ask me to say that either.

Me too, but I almost feel like I am getting paid. Mike monitors these forums and listens to what we want. Then he creates the tune and the next thing I know a new tune is in my in box. That's more payment than I could hope for.

In the world of programmers, the brand of hardware (SCT, Bullydog, Predator, et al) should be your least important consideration.
What you should be most interested in is the skills and experience of the PERSON(s) creating the program. And their willingness to support you after the sale.

Oh, and yet one more unsolicited vote for Mike...

Hey v10e350, how do you like the quigley 4x4? I have a 97 E-350 that i bought new and was going to take it to quigley and chickened out at the last minute. Is it a quality build? Do they do any hacking on the van? I'll bet your gas mileage is 10 MPG right?

Something to think about is that if you encounter a problem with your truck, the dealer will find that the truck has been tuned and try to void your warranty. Don't think that burning the stock program back on will "save" you. The ecm has a flash counter. If the # of flashes doesn't match what is in oasis, you're left hanging.

This is a question that comes up a lot. That's why I always recommend using a mod friendly Dealer. Not all Dealerships operate in this manner. I know of some dealerships that install lift kits and other aftermarket products to their customers.

Very true at some dealers. The SM at my dealer knows I have a tune and is always asking how I like it, where I got it, etc. He has said he has others out with tunes also, both gassers and diesels. He seems much more concerned about happy customers than anything. That's why I bought 100 miles from home.

Just noticed something Mike. With all the votes you get here you should run for office. Corse you would have to learn to lie and cheat.
