Are you running a muffler or a strait pipe.
If you are getting 17 pounds of boost you need to downshift before you ever get to 1300% say at 1100% or your going to melt it.

Hey got an e-mail back from ats diesel. Bernie Boglioli Said that the outlet is on back order for a couple weeks the outlet is $280 and the down pipe 3" is $83 I think I am going to jump on this offer before they stop making this part all together. This will help my egts right? I have a 2 1/2 " down pipe right now (Not the factory one) with 3" exhaust with a flowmaster on it now. When I get the 3" down pipe should I change the rest of the exhaust? I am looking to lower my egs as much as I can but I really dont want the noise of a straight pipe.

I am seeing boost pressure from your posts anywhere from 8 psi up to 17 psi. Does anyone know what is safe? I am at 10 psi right now pulling 5,000 lbs up hill.

Deano the straight pipe with a turbo is nothing like the na motors the turbo tones it down considerably.

that seems like a good deal, yes it will lower your egts and another thing that will is a ram-air intake, and take that muffler out, if it was me i would go 3.5 or 4 inch pipe from downpipe back or daul 3's

Ok talked to ats diesel and ordered the outlet housing and downpipe. They still have them but are on backorder. By the way things are looking ats might not have them for long.

How much of a jump are we talking about in the egts? I will probably go with the 4" with maybe a magnaflow muffler or maybe no muffler.

Any tips that I need to installing the housing and downpipe?
