Cruise Control not working?

Cruise Control not working?
On a recent trip out of town I noticed my cruise control no longer works on my 2000 F250V10. The controls are in the steering wheel and no matter which I press the cruise would not turn on or illuminate in the dash either. Checked all the fuses and they all seem to be working.
Anything else I'm missing?

NO airbag error lights & yes horn does work. I checked for recall using my VIN# at www.genuineservice.com but nothing came up

Even if yours is not under the recall, the switch on the master cylinder can still go bad. Here's a diagram of it. If you put a jumper across the plug, you could see if that was the problem or not.
