Well I finally know what you guys are talking about and man it soudns so good, I am jsut wondering, how you do it, I knwo it involves the ICP sensor and I watched a guy do it in a video but it was hard to follow, so pictures and really well told steps woulb be appretiated, cause I got a buddy who can get me resistors for free so I will do this at school on thursday if you guys help me out. Thanks guys. Also is it safe to do like a 5.6K?
Edit: Also so if I get free time during easter weekend, how do you set up the resistor on a switch? SO I can flip it on and off when needed.

Reason: Adding On
For the ICP I'd start with a 10k resistor, then move up to a 10k and 4.7k, or a 10k and 5.6k and try it out. Then maybe two 10k's together to make 20k. See which one works best... I dont' remember off the top of my head which wire it is you need to put them on, but look up CoonHunterJoe. He's got pics and stuff...
this isnt a huge power power mod so you dont have to worry about a switch or anything, theres already limitedspace to work with, butjust get some spade connectors from circuit city, and resistors are only 99cents a package, bu8t you wont notice anythjing with a 5.6, i have a 10k and i barely notice a difference, litte more smoke at park when you goose it, but work from a 10k every truck is different, mine wouldnt take a 14.7 kept throwing a checkengine code, but it would take a 15.6 but i didnt like the idle, and deppending on your truck, the wiremight be different, mine was a green with blue stripe i belive and some other trucks are the wire mentioned, brown with yellow i think? if your looking at the sensor, is the wire facing downward, it forms a smiley face, 2 wires next to eachother and the 3d wire is the mouth, thats the wire you want.
Okay so start with a 10K and work up? I see, and thank you Miss Independent, I'll give you the run down on it once I have done it and let you know if its worth your time. so 10 and up... hmmm.. Lets go ssomething in the 12 range. I want smoke lol but thanks guys, I'll do a 10K mod.
and you won't get much smoke at all... a little tiny bit more when in park revving up. Nothing really when you're driving.
The most popular ones people have luck with are 10k, 14.7k, 15.6, and 20k
Well I did the 15.6K mod today in the auto shop after I put newer tires on my front rims, and man oh man let that baby start upa nd a minute later (At the most) you get that lope, and then when I was backing it out, i put it in drive and hit that gas pedal, got a hop and a squeal, and its great, I so need to do a 6637 next, and a down pipe, I plan on the 6637 soon, but a down pipe... wow thats going to be a while lol, but real quick question... is it bad on the motor to just run a down pipe? Also is there any other DIY stuff I can do to support this mod? Cuase I was imporessed with it, but I knwo there is more I can do to open it up.

Reason: Spelling and Add-Ons
jsut running a downpipe sounds amazing, sounds like youve got a souped up system, if you just back off the bolts a little so the stock exhaust is still barley attached, its a big enough gap to were it doesnt sound like an exhaust leak and all you can hear is turbo form 1200rpms and up, i did a DP and deleted the cat, all you can here is the turbo, im trying to scrounge up 2ft 3.5 to delete the muff and ill be happy till i get my stacks and chip, youll like the DP, there cheap enough, 130 i belive, cut the cobra head off still attached to the turbo then hack it bottom up ffor easier working conditions, the 6637 is a nice mod, you hear that turbo eating up the air when your matting the beast, i put the stock airfilter meter thing on the pipe i shuved in htere, but every so often it maxes out? not more than 2 weeks on the filter, ohwell. mabe its toclose to the turbo
