head studs question
is it possible to visually verify if there have been aftermarket head studs installed into a truck? It would be my luck to rip the entire thing apart just to see they are already there

You can tell easily. A stud will have a nut on the end of the threaded steel (like all-thread). The factory head bolts are just that - bolts. I had a picture somewhere - but the files I am trying to keep track of are well over 10 MB. I will keep looking though.
