The truck runs excellent most of the time. Just replaced all of the above parts to get the high idle to go away. Several times going across town the truck "dies" for a split second and recovers. It doesn't run rough before or after. It doesn't matter what speed, rpm, load, or road roughness it just happens. It dies on both tanks the same so I've ruled that out. This problem has gone from barely dieng to making the truck jerk. I'm at whits end with it and if I can't figure it out soon its getting a carb. Also if it matters my speedo doesn't work. Help!!!!
Are you sure it is dieing or is the transmission slipping and then hard shifting.
If so it could be the VSS or PSOM.
His truck is manual so not the problem.
Sounds like an ignition fault so switching to carb is unlikely to help.
Have all the grounds been check for tightness? Have you checked for any stored error codes?
So all I came up with is the speed sensor isn't working (which I knew duh)
And the intake charge sensor voltage is to high. Could this cause my problem?
