But you have not tested to the Plugs?

Pull a spark plug (unless you have a spare), stick it in a plug wire, ground it, and turn the motor over, Does it spark?

i dont think i have one on the breather...where on it would it be?

Oh if you have one you couldnt miss it. Its a box bolted onto the breather. They used two types, the Lean Burn Computer, and the Spark Control Computer. They have a large sticker on top identifing which one it is. If you dont have it count your blessings. The last one i sold out of the wrecking yard in 94 sold for $175, thats when they were plentiful. They were bad about going out suddenly. A lot of people ditched them and got the regular style engine bay harness.

One more thing....check your fusable links. Have you got a Haynes or Chilton manual? They go step by step on how to check the module, ballast, coil, ect. Also they have good wiring diagrams for the Dodge.

What ever happened to the ignition mod? I had one go out in a '88 Aerostar and once I replaced it everything was right as rain.

Ok chandler213 made any progress? The wire fuse things you were refering to, are the fuseable links....if you cant find a replacement for them, use smaller wire to act as the fuseable link.
