7.3 glow plugs

my 92 f350 seems to eat glow plugs, i replaced all and two starts later my light was just blincking, i checked the plugs and three where bad changed those and same thing only different three plugs

What brand are you using.
when all 8 are good how long are they staying on.

autolite is all the local shop has have tried boch to but no better. it is about 20 degrees here and they stay on for 15 seconds

autolite can cause very bad problem to these engines thats why its eating them cause the are junk autolites, buy only motorcraft buer

Many Many Many Many MANY cases of autolites only lasting one or two starts have been reported on here.

Several cases of pulled heads because of swollen autolites have been reported here.

You may have a controller problem too but motorcraft beru's would be a good start.

yea my dad bought a brand new set of champions one time, cranked worse than before, also didnt have money to go back and buy anything different we just dissabled the glow plugs complelty and bought a 3$ can of either give er a little wiff on cold mornings, my truck will most of the time crank with no glow plugs, the idiot i got my truck from also put auto lites in my truck, i think i got about 2 that actually still work, but bieng that my motor cranks good i dont have to fix them now, at 50 degrees with only 2 plugs working my motor will be running within the third full turn of the engine but it does miss some for a few seconds to
