Ok I am tired of getting locked out of my truck, after waking up to 8" of ice and snow Saturday morning and no power in the house. I had to go rent a generator and when I got home from renting it the power was back on. So my son goes out to start the truck and just as I stepped out the door he closed the drivers door with the truck running... He didn't know that they did that. his truck (Chevy) locks once your moving. So I spent two hours trying to get my wifes set of keys so I could turn it off.
I know that there is a way to turn off the auto lock feature, as I have seen the post. But I did a search and could not find it. I did read my owners manuel and did not find anything in there about how to turn them off.
Could someone please tell me how to turm them off???
Some of us have been hanging around here so long we can recite the owners manual word for word. Then you have those guys like Jim, Joe, Brandon, Chris, Chase and several others that can take apart their engines and reassemble them in the dark. Then if something does not work they can troubleshoot it!
