this morning I got a phone call from the wife..she said we had received a package from the Brown Box Co..
it was addressed to a Mr.Wienie Ritz (not sure how it was spelled) from a C Woerner in Wichita..
I had forgotten it was April fools day, but that didn't matter.. I was going to get Chad back...
I called him.. and told him I thought my wife was cheating on me.
I don't believe he thought he heard me right so he asked me to say it again. this time I said it a little louder.
again he asked me to repeat it because he couldn't hear me, and this time, when I said it louder, it actually sounded like I meant it.

Quiet from Chad's side....

Then he says.. wait a minute, let me take this conversation outside...

I could tell he was really shook up by this and was taking it seriously.

once he got outside he asked me why I thought she was cheating on me.

I told him it was because some guy named Mr. Wienie Ritz was receiving packages at my house. so I figured I must be on the way out, and he was on the way in..

All of a sudden, I hear a big laugh, and a loud "You B_st_rd!!!!!!"

First time in 10 or 20 years I got fooled... The guys at work tried a few, but no go. My wife even tried a small one... nope. Then Curtis nails me --- hook line and sinker!!!!

 

funny thing is.. I had forgotten that it was even April Fools day until I had already said the punchline...

Didn't manage to pull any off on anyone this year, but there is always next year.
