I Like the Rancho 9000X's , the adjustment is nice . I live in a nice weather climate so mine look like new and have been great. Lifetime warranty !
I have heard great things about the Bilsteins also.

i put rancho 9000s on my 92 f350 and night and day difference. My truck always had oem front shocks but i put on the ranchos, adjusted them up and wow. Took the viberation out of the front. Not sure on what the new f550 will get once time.

How about the Bilstein HD shocks? The 5100 Series look to be for lifted trucks and mine is stock height.

Bilstein - KYB - Rancho - Monroe - Edelbrock Automotive Truck Shocks and Struts - Shockwarehouse.com

I think they are sponsor and have a special discount for FTE members. Don't know what it is but I am sure a search will find it.

If you go to shockwarehouse and enter FORD5 in the promo code you will get an additional 5% OFF. Last week I ordered the "regular" HD shocks for a non-lifted truck and it was $194 total for 4 shocks. My truck is a 2001 with the original shocks and 157,000 miles so I am hoping this will be big improvement.

I had Bilsteins on my 97' F-350 twice, 100,000 miles a set and loved them. Had one that leaked and eshocks.com (which is local to me) replaced it under warranty.

Just got a 2002 F-350 and putting HD Bilsteins on it. Much better than the stock shocks with 70,000 miles on them.

Pro-comp ES9000's here. I have no complaints and they've been on since 2001 when I did the lift.

I just put on RS9000XL's which is Rancho's new adjustable shock. They have a 2.75" (70mm) body & .71" (18mm) chrome rod & are 9 way adjustable. RANCHO Shocks - RS9000XL I paid $400.00 for the set.

The jury is still out for me as I've hardly driven it since but I have a couple of friends that have the older RS9000's & they love em.

I can't find any Bilstein listings for my truck? 2008 F250 2WD.
I need more control than the stock shock provide, very noticable at highway speeds. Sad with only 12K on the truck.
