I recently installed Hawk LTS pads on turned rotors on My Ex, took my time then bedded them in as instucted. My Wife drives the Ex then it pulls to the left.
Feeling that I did a weak job bedding them in I did a few 45-50 mph HARD stops, took right to the driveway too let them cool ( You could smell hot brake ) and so far no problems ....
Just a little input I hope it helps.
Well, I finally finished my brake job! Installed new Raybestos rotors and Raybestos premium pads, test drove..... NO PULLING!!! Now all I have to do is hope the distributor doesn't try to jack me around on the old parts. Thanks to all for the info/help, that's what makes this forum great

I agree this can help.
For new pads I would expect it to be high quality control.
New vehicles from the factory don't have bedding in instructions for new vehiclels.
Therefore if new pads require this there is a pad problem in quality control. The coefficient of friction for a matched set of pads should be within a whisker of each other and not need any bedding in. But,, given poor quality or contamination heating the pads to "burn" off stuff might clear the problem.
