Thinking about 3 in body lift

We are thnking about doing a 3 in body lift to the front of the truck to make it look more even with the steel work box. How difficult is it to do and what changes with have to be made with things like steering etc if any. Thanks

Here's a pic of our truck. It's a 78 F250. We picked it up off a friend for $400 it has a 390 from 1968 in it. It's in pretty good shape but does need some work before we do the body lift if we decide to. It needs some minor floorboard repair, springs, coils and probably a rear end a some point in the near future and of course a tuneup. Everything on the truck is solid except the floors there is no rust anywhere else except a little on the box.

its pretty simple from what i can tell,,you just basically put blocks on the coils and a spacer of some sort on the leaf,,,i have never done this so i could quite possibly be wrong

i got a 3in body lift i just did 2 weekends ago, for a 2wd you will have to modify the steering. I didnt on mine cause its 4x4 and you will have to extend the shift linkage 3 inches if its an auto

They dont have the kits for 2wd because of the different steering that they have

more than likely you will need a drop pitman arm and a trac bar if equipped
