Seems to me the main arguement for not getting a raptor was the lack of seating... but a cobra is better?
I have an issue with the Raptor being a potentially $45,000 to $50,000 vehicle that will barely seat 4 adults comfortably...basically has no functional use and a very high price tag.
I already have a 7 passenger SUV that can seat 7 adults with no issue if needed. It just isn't a Ford and I plan to rectify that sometime in the future
The Cobra would be a "daddy only" vehicle for me to commute to work....and drop the oldest off at school I guess. Which is essentially the role the F-150 serves right now. I can count on 1 hand the # of times the whole family has been in my truck in the last 2 months.
oh well. The car market isn't very supportive of me selling my truck right now. People are just keeping ahold of their money too tightly.
Maybe I should explore some of those mod ideas I've got on the backburner.

Great Thought! Sleep on it .
Stay in Port
Strike the Ensign
My neighbor has a 03 cobra and its fun and all but that is a car that takes a good deal of driving ability. Its not something I would want to "Commute" in. They can get squirrely on you in a flash... Just a thought. Unless you have lots of open road to drive it comfortably on. Then again we live in Houston and get a decent amount of traffic and races when we are out. BTW with a cobra and good driver... The only cars you worry about are the New Z06's and sport bikes. Just my .02
What would I do..? I'd spend another $4k modding it..
Throw a cheap 6" ProComp lift on it, 35s and some 20" black wheels.. pick up a Roush grill and paint it satin black, repaint your heads and throw in some stealth turning bulbs, Nightshades your tails.. pick up some custom decals/overlays from patriotdecals.. paint your steps black..
All of this could easily be done for about $4000.. give or take a couple hundred depending on your wheel/tire choice..
It's not the best rendition.. but your truck would kinda look like this.. minus the bull bar and window visor things..
I dunno bout you.. but this truck looks a lot funner to drive than a mustang.. besides you already got a supercharger.. might as well throw another couple grand into it anyways..
