is this site messing up?? damn.. they came out too big..
first pic is mine..it has a channel for the rubber oring
yours it flat on the inside of the oring so the screen sits in there..
i guess i could shave it..but i would have to pull the front cover
to do that to..

That's friggin hilarious. 
Thats the only time that I've done it.
I could see someone doing it if they went from an dino to Syn and wanted to get all the dino out they could, I didnt bother doing it, but some might. Either that or if its a fresh engine rebuild and at that first oil change I would, just to get all the oil out I could that may have small metal particles in it from break-in. Short of that its pretty much pointless.

I'm workin on it, i'm still tryin to figure out how the crap to get that pic into his little bs conact email on his website, when I figure it out i'll take a pic and load it up.

Well, my HPOP oil was changed when the motor was pulled out. My mechanic went in and replaced the screen since it had a good bit of junk on it. So I know it was cleaned out at 301K, but not sure if it was done prior to 280K when I bought it.
