Universal Remote for DVD?

Quick question. I did not get a remote for the DVD player in the 2007 Expy EL that I just picked up. Does anyone know if a universal remote will work, or am I stuck buying the $55 remote from the dealer?

Thanks in advance.

You could try EBay.
Make sure you use good batteries the remote. The factory batteries leaked after 6 months of AZ heat and the dealer had to replace the remote under warranty.

I was going to do that as well, but I was hoping to just go pick up a cheap universal remote.

Thanks for the advice.
