Expedition won't start
Need your help guys,my '97 Expedition was not used for 3 days then I decided to have her cleaned....drove her out of the garage then started cleaning,after drying her up I started her but she won't start....I noticed that the "theft" indicator on the cluster blinks every time I try to crank her up. How come? Does this mean my truck won't accept my keys? What could be wrong? Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Turn the key to on, but dont start it, and leave it like that for 10 minutes. After that, take the key out for about 15 seconds, and then try to start the engine and see if that helps, should recalibrate the anti theft system.

Left the key at On for 10 mins and started it after removing the key for 15 seconds,didn't seem to work. It still cranks but does not turn over. Oh well,will have the car towed to the dealership tomorrow and see what they say.

Sorry that didn't work. I have the chipped keys, which i'm assuming you have, which are a security feature that if a key cut right but not programmed tries to start the car it will continuously crank. I was thinking that trying to recalibrate it might work, but it might have to be completely reprogrammed or something else might be wrong with it.

Got my truck form the dealership and they told me that my PCM relay was replaced because ants were inside it and caused it to short circuit,damn those ants.....
The relay was 10bucks.

Mine had that issue this week. It seems to always have issues when it gets wet.
Ive also had relays start clicking on and off, till the battery goes dead, and the radio goes dead when the truck is in gear.
let us know what the pusher,... I mean dealer, says... Thanx.
