EGT sensor boss

Friday i'm getting new 4" and was wandering if I put the EGT sensor after the turbo in the down pipe what kind of nut has to be welded in for the sensor?? Or would it be better to drill the exhaust manifold??I know its gonna be less in the down pipe by about couple hundred AM I RIGHT?

You could always put a post and pre if you wanted. I believe the threads are 1/8 npt

That sounds small 1/8 npt I watched the powerstrokehelp and it looked like a 1/2" nut maybe it was necked down?
